TV/Antenna

The dormitory offers a choice of two TV packages – the small and the large package. The small TV package only contains free channels with the exception of TV2, whereas the large TV package is more expensive as it also contains paid channels. As a new resident, you should be receiving the small TV package (although the registration may create a one month overlap with the previous resident’s choice of TV package).

All channels are distributed using digital signal, so your TV needs to contain a digital TV tuner (alternatively a separate digital tuner box can be used).

Channel list

The small TV package contains the channels mentioned below:

Channel search

To find the TV channels on your TV you need to perform a channel search. Please configure your TV to receive digital signal using DVB-C (cable), and perform a channel search. If your TV does not find all the channels automatically, you need to do a manual search using the following settings:

Network ID: 100 (00100)
Start frequency: 143000
Symbol rate: 6875
Modulation: QAM64

Switch TV package

Change before the 12th of the month to avoid that next month’s rent has already been processed. Sometimes the rent is processed later, but if you change before the 12th, you are on the safe side. You can switch your TV package (small/large) through your Network Account Settings, here: Log in

Report signal failure

If the TV signal shows signs of failure, you can report it through your Network Account Settings, here: Log in

TV Channel Voting

Once in a while, the residents will vote on which TV channels we want in our TV package. When a vote has been announced, the voting system can be accessed through your Network Account Settings, here: Log in
