Notice of bicycle clean-up at Nybrogård Kollegiet October 8th 2017

A clean-up among the bicycles and trash will take place at Nybrogård Kollegiet on October 8th, 2017.

You will all receive one coloured cable-tie in your mailbox well before October 8th. Mount the cable-tie in a visible position on the stem post or handlebar of your bicycle, if you wish to keep the bike after the clean-up. Everything else placed in or around the bicycle sheds must be marked in a similar visible fashion using the coloured cable-ties. Additional cable-ties can, after they have been distributed to the mailboxes, be picked up at the janitors (Lars Kajs) office during opening hours. All unmarked bicycles and other items will be removed during the clean-up and handed over to the police as lost property.

Alle beboere indbydes til at give en hånd med på dagen, således at vi i fællesskab kan få ryddet ud i gamle cykler og affald på kollegiet. Beboerrådet vil byde på pizza og sodavand efter arbejdet.

All residents are invited to participate in the clean-up, so we can help each other clean out the abandoned bicycles on the dorm. The Residents Council will offer pizza and sodas to the participants after the event.

More information and reminders will follow as we get closer to the event.

Path to Sorgenfri and bridge across Mølleåen closed 15/5-19/5

The bridge and the adjourned paths through Lyngby Åmose from Åmosebakken to Nybro are closed from Monday the 15th of May 2017 8:00 until Friday the 19th of May at 16:00.

Nearest alternative crossing is here (around 1 km. to the west).

Bike clean-up Sunday 8th of May

Remember the bike clean-up on Sunday!
You are invited to come by the janitor’s office (Lars Kaj) @ 10:00 (10 am). The dorm’s association will provide free pizza and drinks afterwards to all participants! We usually spend 2-3 hours to gather the bikes and mark them together with a couple of the janitors and their tractor.

You have already received one blue cable tie in your mailbox; additional cable ties can be picked up by the janitor’s office in his opening hours. You are to attach the cable tie to the seat post (or a similar, visible place).

All bikes shall be marked or they will be removed! This goes for everything else placed in/around the bike sheds and bike racks.
All collected bikes are handed over to the police district’s “lost & found”-office immediately after the clean-up.

There will be a clean-up among the bikes and trash on the dorm on May 8th 2016. Everyone is invited to come and help out.

You will all receive one coloured strip in your mailbox when we get closer to the event. If you wish to keep your bike, please put the strip on the seatpost of your bike.
Additionally, everything elso placed in or around the bike shed’s, shall be marked in a similar, visible fashion. Additional strips can be picked up at the janitor’s office during opening hours (at a later point, but in due time before the clean-up).

Irregularities in hot water and the water supply in general

Between Monday 25/1 and Friday 29/1 there will be irregularities in the delivery of hot water and the water supply in general due to troubleshooting.
The work will be carried out in the timespan 8:00 – 16:00.

The secretariat & the netgroup is closed Monday; Complaint’s committee closed Tuesday.

We are still awaiting the new computers for the office.

All office hours in GH-basement cancelled next week (week 50) until further notice!

Due to a computer security incident, the secretariat, Netgroup and complaint’s committee, will be closed in week 50 or until further notice!

This is because the Netgroup needs to buy new equipment, update and install this. Until then no computers are available and thus the 3 office’s can’t work. The secretariat and complaint’s committee additionally won’t be able to answer e-mails.
For handing in study activity forms (and other forms), please use the designated mailbox in the GH-basement and they will be processed at first possible occassion!

Updating resident lists

We do not currently have synchronization between KAB’s systems and ours.
This means that we cannot update the resident lists properly with move-in’s and -out’s. New resident’s coming by the Netgroup’s office to sign-up will also experience some waiting time, as we have to put you in manually.

We hope to be able to establish the link before the end of week 38 (next week).
