About the club

History

Some years back, the Resident’s Council approved the purchase of five canoes, and the Canoe Club was founded. In the summer of 1999 a purchase of two additional canoes were greenlighted by the Resident’s Council. The fleet was expanded further in the spring of 2002 with two canoes and two kayaks.

Purpose

The club is open for all residents to become members. All members should be able to use our canoes and kayaks within the range of our rules.

Membership numbers

Today more that 20% of the residents at the dorm are members of the Canoe Club. This is therefore one of the largest clubs at the Nybrogård Dormitory.
