Aparment waiting lists
The dormitory has 68 apartments. You can sign up for the internal waiting list if you wish to move into an apartment with your partner (and child(ren)). Couples moving into an aparment must be active students for at least 6 months after the move-in date. After 6 months, we only require that one person is an active student.
Applicants on the internal waiting list are first priority when an apartment becomes available. The internal waiting list is handled in the following order:
- Couples studying and already living at Nybrogård Kollegiet (with/without children)
- A student living at Nybrogård Kollegiet + an external student (with/without children)
Applicants on the external waiting list are second priority when an apartment becomes available. The external waiting list is handled by KAB.
To sign up for the internal waiting list, contact the Secretariat. You can sign up for the external waiting list through KAB (read more here).
Please note: The internal waiting list is not available to subtenants. Furthermore, couples must be in a romantic relationship when moving into an apartment. If one tenant leaves the apartment, their partner must move out of the apartment as well, and will be offered a single room instead. If one tenant passes away, the parner can be granted exemption from this rule thorugh KAB.
The waiting lists are not publicly available. However, the Secretariat can inform you of your position on the waiting list. Most couples on the internal waiting list are offered an apartment within a year, but waiting times vary widely.
