To live in the dormitory, you must be an active student. This means that you must attend a SU-approved education program or have at least 23 hours of active studying activities weekly, if you are taking single HF-courses or at least 16 hours of active studying activities weekly, if you are taking supplementary single courses at high-school level.
You are not eligible to live at the dormitory if you are not actively enrolled in a study program or if you are a PhD-student.
If you choose to change studies while being a resident at the dormitory, it is your responsibility to report your change of study to the secretariat. In this case, you will be asked to fill out a study declaration specifying the required information about your new study program. If you are not going to be starting your new study program right away, you can apply for dispensation for a period of maximum three months that will allow you to stay at the dormitory in this transitional period. To apply for dispensation, you must fill out and hand in a dispensation application to the Secretariat.
If you have finished your study program, but have plans to continue your studies within three months from your previous study program’s end date, you can apply for dispensation to for this transitional period. To apply for dispensation, you must fill out and hand in a dispensation application to the Secretariat. During the dispensation period, you will be asked to provide documentation with relevant information about your upcoming study program.
If you have finished your study program, but have plans to continue your studies after more than three months from the end date of your previous study program, you can apply for dispensation to for this transitional period by contacting the Board at To apply for dispensation, you must fill out and hand in a dispensation application to the Board.
After graduation, you can apply for dispensation for a period of maximum three months. To apply for dispensation, you must fill out and hand in a dispensation application to the secretariat.
